    Police appeal for information to help identify a young woman in concern for her welfare.

    Police have released CCTV images following a report received on Sunday (4 September 2022) at 11.19pm, for the concern of the welfare of a female on Woden Street Bridge in Salford.

    Emergency services attended the scene but could not locate the female, described as in her late teens, with red hair.

    CCTV footage shows a female, believed to be her, leaving Pomona Strand and walking on Trafford Road towards Salford Quays.

    Detective Inspector Matt Dixon, of Stretford CID, said:

    “Although we are aware the attached CCTV images are unclear, we’re hoping that someone may know who this person is. We are really just wanting to make sure that they are safe and well.

    “If you have any information, or you are the person pictured, then please get in touch with us”.
