Bridget McKeown, 88, was found deceased at her home address on Monday 2 October 2017.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Bridget is believed to have been born in Canada before moving to the UK and was a musician before retiring.
Anybody with information that could help find her next of kin is asked to contact the South Manchester Police Coroners HUB on 0161 856 9677.
