  • POLICE ARREST THREE AFTER UNEXPLAINED DEATH AT BRIAR HILL COURT IN PENDLETON

    Police have arrested three men on suspicion of murder after they were called to the 25 storey Briar Hill Court tower block in Pendleton at around 10:25pm last night.

    A man was found unconscious upon arrival and was later pronounced dead after being taken by ambulance to hospital.

    The name and age of the deceased has not yet been revealed by police and we ask that any information regarding this is not posted to social media.

    In a statement GMP, said:

    "Officers were called to Briar Hill Court, Salford, at about 10:25pm on 17 June 2022 to reports a man was unconscious. NWAS also attended and took the man to hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead about an hour later."

    "His death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing. Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody while the full circumstances are established."
