GMP Salford's Neighbourhood team arrested a 14-year-old male this morning (3rd August) for carrying out criminal damage, anti-social behaviour and obstruction of emergency workers as they attempted to go about their business.

Upon arrest the youth was also found to be in possession of a knife.

Police say that this incident was following numerous reports of arson within the Broughton Park area.
