Police were called to an address on Stowell Street in Salford just after 10pm on Thursday 25 March after reports from the public of a firearms discharge having taken place.

Officers attended the scene last night, and found that a window had been shot at, as well as a second address on neighbouring Bridson Street.

Fortunately we have been told that no-one was injured and there have been no arrests have been made so far.

A police cordon remains in place this morning, and Greater Manchester Police say that investigations are ongoing.
