Police were called to an address on Stowell Street in Salford just after 10pm on Thursday 25 March after reports from the public of a firearms discharge having taken place.
Officers attended the scene last night, and found that a window had been shot at, as well as a second address on neighbouring Bridson Street.
Fortunately we have been told that no-one was injured and there have been no arrests have been made so far.
A police cordon remains in place this morning, and Greater Manchester Police say that investigations are ongoing.
Officers have been seen carrying out searches along the street looking for evidence which may have been left behind.
Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 8565194 quoting log 3097 of 25/03/21. Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
