  • POLICE CALLED AFTER WOMAN ASSAULTED AT THE B'HIVE INN

    Police were called to the B'Hive Public House on Holland Street shortly after 11:30pm last night (Saturday 18th July) after reports that a woman had received head injuries as the result of an assault.

    The area around the pub & nearby cock robin bridge was cordoned off.

    Officers say that at the moment there have been no arrests made.

    In a statement made by Greater Manchester Police, a spokesperson said:

    "Shortly after 11.50pm on Saturday 18 July 2020, police were called to a pub on Holland Street in Salford to reports that a woman had been assaulted.

    "Officers attended and a 44-year-old woman was taken to hospital with head injuries. She remains in a stable condition.

    "No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
