
Police have given an update following a possible firearms incident at a property in Pendleton.
The area close to St Paul's Church is currently cordoned off as police focus on a nearby block of flats and an alleyway.
It is now confirmed that at around 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 15 August 2023), officers were called to reports of a possible firearms discharge at an address on Churchill Way, Pendleton.
Police say that at this stage, it is believed that no one has been injured in relation to this incident and no arrests have been made at this stage.
A scene remains in place whilst officers continue to gather evidence and establish the full circumstances.
