Police were alerted by a member of the public who had raised the alarm after seeing a with a serious injury to his head in the Clarendon Park area of Salford at around 11am today (Tuesday).
Officers attended and cordoned off West High Street which leads to the park.
The man, thought to be in his 40's - 50's was quickly taken to hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
A spokesperson for GMP, said:
Quote"Officers attended Clarendon Park in Salford at around 11:10am today (14 February 2023) over concerns for the welfare of a man. He has now been taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition."
