    Salford News

Police have launched an investigation after a number of staff vehicles parked in an unsecure car park outside of HMP Forest Bank in Agecroft, were targeted by vandals.

Three vehicles were damaged shortly before midnight on Sunday July 3rd by persons unknown and prison sources say that the motivation for the attack is unclear.

Earlier this year, the inspectorate of prisons condemned the prison as unable to fulfil its role successfully.
