Police are currently investigating the currently unexplained death of a man who was found dead in his home in Walkden yesterday evening. (Weds 7th June).
Officers were called at around 9pm after concerns were raised over the welfare of a man at his home on Memorial Road in Walkden.
GMP have said:

"Police are investigating the death of a 60-year-old man in Salford.
"Officers were called to Memorial Road, Walkden, at about 9pm on 7 June 2021 to concerns over the welfare of a man.
"NWAS also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is currently unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
Police Officers are currently trying to determine the circumstances which lead to the mans death.
