  • POLICE INVESTIGATION AFTER GUNSHOTS FIRED AT A HOME IN LITTLE HULTON

    Police were called to reports of gunshots having been heard in Little Hulton during the early hours of Tuesday morning (4th  May).

    A police cordon has been established around a property on Madams Wood Road in the area which appears to have suffered damage to a lower storey window.

    Armed officers were seen in the area shortly afterwards but have since stood down.

    Police have revealed that fortunately no injuries occurred as a result of the incident.

    An investigation is on-going and police remain at the scene this morning.

    A spokesperson for GMP said:

    "Officers were called just before 1am this morning (4 May 2021) to a report of shots fired on Madams Wood Road in Worsley, Salford.

    "No one was injured.

    "An investigation is on-going and a cordon remains in place."
