Police in Salford are continuing to investigate following a shooting in Eccles.
Emergency services were called to the Higher Croft area of Eccles on Sunday 19th March). following reports of a 16-year-old boy having been shot in the arm whilst riding a motorbike. by two men who were also said to have been on a motorbike.
The teenager was taken to hospital with arm injuries but is said to be in a non-life-threatening stable condition.
A number of roads in the area were cordoned off at the time, along with a section of Ivy Steet Park which saw police searches take place.
As a result of the shooting, police have stepped up patrols in the area and are appealing for the help of members of the public who may have witnessed or have dash cam footage of the incident.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, said:

"I would like to reassure the local community that we have increased the number of patrol officers deployed to the area and are working at pace to understand the full circumstances surrounding this incident.
"If you have any concerns about this incident, please speak to one of our officers in the area who are on hand to support you. We would urge the public to come forward if they have any information that could assist our investigation, and if they have any CCTV, doorbell, or dash cam footage, to report it to us directly.
"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area before, during, or after the incident, who may have seen something. No matter how small the information may seem, it could prove vital."
