  • POLICE LAUNCH AN INVESTIGATION IN KERSAL AFTER A MAN PRESENTED AT HOSPITAL WITH A GUNSHOT WOUND TO HIS HAND

    Police were called at around 7.20pm on the evening of Tuesday 17 November 2020 after reports of a firearms discharge which resulted in a 38-year-old man self-presenting at hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand. 

    The man has since been discharged from hospital after it was determined his injuries were non life threatening.

    An investigation is currently underway and police have established a scene on Littleton Road, Salford.

    The road is closed between Hillside Avenue and South Mesnefield Road, diversions are in place.

    So far there have been no arrests made and enquiries are ongoing.
