Greeater Manchester Police's Transport Unit officers spotted a Ford EcoSport in Salford overnight which failed to stop.
Police say that a pursuit ensued with the vehicle later being abandoned on Tootal Grove.
Unfortunately for the two occupants the pursuing officers were too quick for them and police say that they’ve subsequently been booked into their 'local B&B with full en-suite facilities'.
After checks it was found that the vehicle was outstanding stolen and on false plates.
It had been stolen from an address in Salford earlier in the day.
