  • POLICE RELEASE CCTV PHOTOS OF A KNIFE ATTACK ON A LITTLE HULTON STORE

    Shortly after 8.30pm on Sunday 21 April 2019, a man entered Delta Supermarket on Brookhurst Lane, Little Hulton, brandishing a kitchen knife. 

    He threatened shop workers and demanded money from the till before leaving with a quantity of cash, which he placed in a white draw string bag with ‘JD – King of Trainers’ written on it. 

    Police have released CCTV images and are appealing for information.

    Detective Constable Philip Kumeta of GMP’s Salford District said:

    Quote

    “Since this incident occurred we have been following numerous lines of enquiry to trace the offender. 

    “We’re now appealing for the public’s help to identify the individual responsible. 

    “Thankfully there were no injuries as a result of this robbery, but staff were left understandably shaken. 

    “While the face of the man in the pictures is covered, he is wearing distinctive clothing. 

    “If you recognise him or have any information that can assist our investigation, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
