  • POLICE RELEASE THREE UNDER INVESTIGATION AFTER DEATH OF A MAN AT A PENDLETON TOWER BLOCK

    Three men who were arrested by police on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead at a Pendleton tower block, have been released under investigation.

    Police were called to the 25 storey Briar Hill Court tower block in Pendleton at around 10:25pm on the 17th of June.

    A man was found unconscious upon arrival and was later pronounced dead after being taken by ambulance to hospital.

    Three men were subsequently arrested and taken into custody but have now been released under investigation whilst police wait for the results of a toxicology report as part of a post mortem.

    The death remains being treated as unexplained.
