  • POLICE RESPOND TO A COLLISION INVOLVING A PEDESTRIAN ON WORSLEY ROAD IN WINTON

    At around 7:30pm on Tuesday (26th January) police were called out after reports of a road traffic accident in on Worsley Road in Winton.

    The incident, which is thought to have involved a pedestrian and a black Renault Clio, took place between Walker Road and Stableford, resulting in the road being closed off and a police cordon in place whilst emergency services dealt with the scene.

    Diversions were put in place and vehicles were advised to avoid the area.

    A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said:

    "At 1930 hours on Tuesday 26 th January 2021 Police were called to reports of an RTC on Worsley Road at Eccles.

    "A scene is currently in place and police are investigating what has occurred. "
