A man in his 30's has been hospitalised after what police believe to be a targeted knife attack by three men in the early hours of yesterday morning (6th April).
The incident happened close to the junction between Barton Road and Liverpool Road in Eccles shortly after midnight. Police say that the man was knocked off his bike and sustained injuries to his head and arm.
He is said to be in a stable condition.
A spokesperson, said:
Quote"Officers were called to a report of cyclist threatened with a bladed weapon and knocked off his bike on Liverpool Road in Salford just after 12.30am today (6 April 2022). A man in his 30s is received head and arm injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition. Two males made off from the scene."
