POLICE STOP SEARCH OF TWO JUVENILES IN SWINTON - FINDS CANNABIS, CASH AND A CAN OF TEAR GAS

Two officers from the Salford North East Neighbourhood Team were out and about proactively patrolling Swinton this afternoon when they had cause to stop search two juveniles.

Both Males were found with a number of items consistent with the supply and distribution of drugs upon them, mainly cannabis, weighing scales, cash and unbelievably a can of CS spray (Tear Gas), because everyone carries a can around with them right?

CS Spray has a 'prohibited firearm' classification in the UK and being found in possession of it can lead to a prison sentence between six months and ten years and a fine.

The pair are now in custody with some serious questions to answer.
