    An area around the junction of Langley Road South and Owen Street in Salford has been closed off due to a potential chemical incident.

    People in the immediate are are being advised to keep windows and doors closed and stay indoors.

    They are warning people to avoid the area if possible.

    TGfM are reporting diversions and road closures in the area.

    GMFRS have said via Twitter:

    "Our crews are currently dealing with a potential chemical incident at an industrial premises on Langley Road South in Salford.

    "As a precaution, residents in the area should keep doors and windows closed and people should avoid the area if possible."
