  • SALFORD RUM LAUNCH THEIR LATEST PRODUCT... WHITE RUM IN ANOTHER ICONIC COLLECTORS BOTTLE

    Salford News

We called into the Dirty Old Town distillery, for a chat with co-owner and founder, Tommy Gaughan as he told us all about their new and exciting product.

Alongside their Dark Spice Rum, Honey Rum and Dark Spiced Rum they have introduced, Salford White Rum, a rum that is infused with orange, Sicilian lemon and lime peels to give a citrus hit ideal for mojito's and daiquiri, the ideal drink for the summer nights.

The quirky thing about the White Rum bottle apart from the iconic Dave Draws designed label is a concealed LED light in the base which can be switched on/off with mood setting and I do know that people have been converting the bottles into lamps by drilling a hole in them!

The boys have been in the news recently when they raised £7,500 for Salford Lads Club with a one batch of Salford Lads Rum in a dark green glass, already a collectors piece, and they deserve to be applauded for this selfless act.

July 13th this year (2023) will bring a Rum Experience tour of the distillery with a difference, Doodle and Rum will see artist Dave Draws hosting a masterclass where doodling and rum sampling are combined, sounds a winner to me.
