A 28-year-old teacher from Salford appeared in Manchester Crown Court today having been charged with two counts of sexual activity with a 15-year-old child.
Rebecca Joynes, spoke only to confirm her name as she entered not guilty pleas to both charges relating to a young boy back in 2021 during which the court heard she had intentionally touched him in a sexual manor.
She no longer works for the authority following an earlier suspension.
Rebecca Joynes has been granted bail by the court on the conditions that she makes not attempt to contact prosecution witnesses and has no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18.
Two further hearings were set for October.
The trial is expected to last four days and was set for May 2023.
