  • SCHOOL BOY BAILED AFTER SWINTON STABBING

    Shortly after 8.50am on Tuesday 26 September 2017, police received a report that a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed at a bus stop on Chorley Road.

     

    A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and, after consultation with the CPS, he has been bailed until 24 October 2017, pending further enquiries. 

    The 17-year-old boy who was stabbed remains in hospital in a stable condition. 

    Anyone with any information is asked to contact police as soon as possible on 101 quoting incident number 463 26/09/17 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
