A video taken by Connor Mannion has emerged this afternoon of a sinkhole that has opened in a road in Weaste, at time of posting the video has already received over 3,419 views on Facebook.

The collapse seems to be at the opening to the park, close to the junction of Gore Crescent and Lower Seedley Park Road.

Connor did his duty by issuing a warning to motorists to be careful of the collapsing road.

GMP Traffic posted on their Twitter feed warning of the hole.

The hole is of a similar size to one which opened in Wellington Terrace which Salford Mayor Paul Dennett had to sidestep on May 20th during a parade, which to the dismay of those living on the street has still not been repaired over a month after.

The road collapsed as cadets and dignitaries walked along Wellington Terrace.

    Urban Vision has been notified.
