SIX SERVICES TO REMEMBER IN SALFORD

The day follows Armistice Day which marks the ending of the First World War in 1918 – when the guns fell silent at the 11^th hour on the 11^th day of the 11^th month.

Ceremonial Mayor of Salford Councillor Peter Connor said: “It’s a day to pause, remember and honour those who gave their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. Their bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.”

Members of the public are welcome to attend any of the services.
