  • STAFF THREATENED WITH SLEDGEHAMMERS DURING NATIONWIDE ROBBERY

    Officers attended and found that three offenders had forced entry into the bank using a white van. 

    They then threatened staff with sledgehammers, stealing money, before fleeing the scene. 

    Police have launched a full investigation to establish the circumstances around this incident. 

    Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 497 of 24/08/17, or anonymously, through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
