  • TEENAGER STABBED IN THE LEG BY GANG IN WEASTE

    Shortly before midnight (07 Aug) Police were called to the scene of a stabbing incident in Weaste in which a 16 year old boy was attacked by a group and stabbed in the leg.

    This comes after reports of knives being used during thefts in several Salford parks over the past week.

    A GMP spokesman said:

    Quote

     

    “Police were called shortly after 12am on Tuesday, August 7 to reports that a male had been stabbed on Eccles New Road in Salford.

    “A boy aged 16 was approached near the junction of Eccles New Road and Cemetery Road by a group of offenders, one of whom stabbed him in the leg.

    “He was taken to hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

    “Enquiries are ongoing.”
