The body of a male was recovered from the railway tracks in Eccles after emergency teams were called to Eccles station at around 10:51pm last night (Thursday 2nd Feb).
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file in relation to the death will be passed to the coroner.
Paramedics sadly declared the man dead at the scene.
Due to the nature of the incident we will not be covering this further and our thoughts and prayers are with the mans family and friends.
