    The death of a 56-year-old man whose body was found in Agecroft say that his death was not suspicious.

    Police cordoned off an area at the junction between Kilcoby Avenue and Agecroft Road on Monday 20th Jan after a body was reported as being discovered shortly before 11:30am by a member of the public.

    GMP have now said that their investigations have concluded and that his death was not being treated as suspicious. they have since passed on a file to the coroners office.

    Police said at the time:

    Shortly before 11.30am this morning (Monday 20 January 2020), police were called to Agecroft Avenue at the junction with Kilcoby Avenue.

    Sadly, officers discovered the body of a man.

    A scene is in place whilst investigation work continues.

    The investigation is in its early stages and officers are working hard to establish the circumstances of the man’s death.
