TSOS launched last year and has grown in popularity ever since, drawing in dedicated listeners from all across the globe.

Station Owner/Manager Simon Williams announced that the station is set to expand its content with the aim of eventually going 24 hours a day.

    Quote

"We aim to bring up to date shows from people from the local and surrounding areas.  There will be interviews with musicians and artists, MP's, footballers, local teams, music shows from local DJ's and everything to keep you up to date on what's going on locally."

A task we have no doubt will be achieved considering the stations already staggering success in beating the Americans at their own game by topping the US charts multiple times since the stations creation.

As part of those plans a new website is being created to make its content easier to access.

TSOS has gained a loyal cult following not only among Salfordian's at home but also our many expats spread around the planet who use the station to keep in touch of what is happening back home. The station boasts listener numbers that even commercial FM stations would be proud of.

Part of the stations draw is its no compromise attitude when it comes to promoting all things Salford, our local bands, our uniquely Salford culture and our Cities wide and varied collection of people.

Its popular shows encompass every section of Salford life, from the much loved Golden Girls show hosted by local lasses Norma and Noreen through to the Ian Cullen's Rock and Roll Years and From the Fans Mouth, a topical Rugby show hosted by Simon himself which is full of banter and info on our local team.

So the little station from Salford has BIG plans to build upon its previous successes and expand as it goes from strength to strength.

What started as a frontroom Podcast has grown exponentially into something Salford can be proud of.

If you are interested in doing a show on the station then you can get in touch with Simon via Facebook
