  • THIEF SMASHES DOOR TO STEAL A MICROWAVE FROM THE RANGE IN ECCLES

    Police were called to a break-in at the Range on West One Retail Park in Eccles at around 7pm last night (Sunday 15th Dec) after a thief threw what is thought to have been a brick through a door window in order to gain entry to steal a microwave.

    We can only assume someone desperately needed to warm up a pie.

    So far no arrests have been made and the store is open for business this morning.

    Greater Manchester Police said,

    Quote

     

    "We were called to reports of a burglary at 7pm on Sunday 15 December at premises on West One Retail Park, Salford.

    "Unknown offender smashed glass door with a brick and entered the store before stealing a microwave.

    "Enquiries are ongoing."
