Three men were arrested after the driver of a stolen Lexus vehicle rammed into police vehicles after it was stolen from Worsley, last night.

The vehicle was spotted being driven along the M60 after being reported stolen from an address in Worsley.

It was pursued by police but the driver failed to stop, forcing police to deploy a stinger to bring the vehicle to a halt.

An desperate attempt to escape capture was made by ramming into the police vehicles, but this was ultimately unsuccessful and all three men were arrested and detained into police custody.

In a posting to social media, a spokesperson for GMP, said:
