  • THREE YEAR COMMUNITY ORDER FOR MAN WHO EXPOSED HIMSELF ON THE BANKS OF THE SHIP CANAL

    A man from Eccles received a three year community order after exposing himself on the banks of the ship canal.

    Carl Romagnolo, 51yrs , from Eccles was convicted of Exposure at Salford and Manchester Magistrates Court today.

    On 1st January 2022 Mr Romagnolo was seen on the banks of the Manchester Ship canal exposing himself to residents of Langland Drive.

    This had been the third occasion that the male had been seen by residents.

    The Neighbourhood Team quickly identified the male and arrested him at his home address.

    He pleaded guilty to the one charge of exposure and received a community order for 3 yrs, during which he will engage in unpaid work, a rehabilitation programme and inclusion on the sex offenders register for 5yrs.
