  • TWO ARRESTED AFTER CRASHING A VEHICLE WHICH WAS STOLEN AT KNIFE-POINT JUST 90 MINUTES EARLIER

    Officers from Greater Manchester Police's Operation Corridor team made two arrests after a vehicle was stolen just 90 minutes earlier in a knife-point robbery.

    Police pursued the vehicle through the streets until the driver lost control and crashed on the A666.

    There are no serious injuries reported and both of those arrested were detained for further enquiries.

    Last weekend, a police officers was injured in a collision with another stolen vehicle which was being driven on false plates.
