Yesterday evening saw two separate stabbing incidents in Clifton.
Firstly a 35-year-old Man was stabbed in the leg after being chased by a group of youths in the area.
The incident happened at around 9:30pm on Denbigh Road, the victim was taken to Salford Royal Hospital with serious injuries but it is believed that they are not thought to be life-threatening.
A police spokesperson said that enquiries are still ongoing and no arrests have been made.

Earlier in the evening, Shortly after 6.30pm on Monday 18 June 2018, police were called to reports that a man had been stabbed on Balmoral Road in Clifton.
Officers attended and a 17-year-old man was taken to Salford Royal hospital with serious injuries. He also remains in a stable condition.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident number 1784 of 18/06/2018, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
Cordons were put in place at both incidents but have since been lifted.
It is unknown as yet if both incidents were linked. No arrests have been made in either case and enquiries are ongoing.
