A large police presence was reported at Worsley Woods this morning, with an area close to the M60 underpass temporarily taped off.
We are being told that the cordon has since been removed and the police presence has now been stepped down.
However, tragically the body of a man has been found at the well known beauty spot.
Police say that they do not believe there is any suspicious circumstance surrounding his death.
Due to the nature of the incident we will not be reporting further out of respect for his friends and family.
We offer our sincere condolences.
