Volunteers are urgently wanted to help box and pack loads of emergency supplies which are to be sent to Ukraine to help with the ongoing humanitarian efforts as well over a million people have been displaced due to the Russian invasion of the country.

Trucks are arriving at Polish Centre, Worsley Road, Winton M30 8BL (opposite Lidl) this morning.

Volunteers are required right NOW to help load all the emergency supplies onto them, so if you have a little free time this morning and want to help then we urge you to get involved and head down there.

The trucks will depart to take all the boxed up donations to national distribution points for the trips to the Polish/Ukrainian border.

The staff at the centre have asked for the public to suspend sending in donations as they have received an unbelievable amount and they say that they have enough for this leg of the operation.
