Brian Lysaght (born 16/11/1981) was released from prison on 27 November 2009 on licence after serving a sentence for assault.
However, he failed to abide by the conditions of his release and has been wanted by police since 2010.
Despite extensive enquiries by officers and attempts to locate him, he has not been traced.
He is known to have connections to the Salford area, Manchester and also has links to Ireland.
Police have released a picture of Lysaght and are appealing to anyone who knows of his whereabouts to come forward.
Anyone harbouring Lysaght could be prosecuted and face a prison sentence themselves.
