Lancashire Police are appealing for the public's help to find a man who's absconded from prison.
He's currently serving an indeterminate sentence for breach of licence, robbery, burglary and vehicle-crime dealt with at Bolton Crown Court in 2009 and further offences of burglary dwelling dealt with at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court in 2010.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said:

“John Hardy left HMP Kirkham yesterday and hasn't been seen since. Anybody who sees him, or knows where he might be, is asked not to approach him, but to contact us as soon as possible to let us know where he is.”
He's described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, with blue eyes, shaven brown hair and various tattoos on his right arm including a man’s name and a smiley face.
As well as Salford, he also has connections to Manchester and may have travelled there.
