Donna set up Blackwood records due to her inspiration by other artists including Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys.  This inspiration is dynamically displayed within the music she produces. Her new R&B single is uplifting and is undoubtedly the brightest song on your playlist for summer.

The lyrics touch on a personal journey which is relatable for many women trying to advance their chosen careers whilst holding down a committed relationship and a family.
