A TAMESIDE MAN WHO TERRIFIED RESIDENTS AFTER FIRING A GUN IN BROAD DAYLIGHT HAS BEEN JAILED

He pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear and breaching a suspended sentence imposed on him in September 2015. 

The court heard at about 9am on Tuesday 25 October 2016 Pourablghssemion walked to Victoria Street in Dukinfield where he threatened a woman. 

Neighbours were disturbed by him shouting before hearing successive bangs as Pourablghssemion fired a suspected handgun at a house. 

He then fled the scene before police arrived. 

Officers discovered five bullet casings on the road and enquiries named Pourablghssemion as a suspect. 

A warrant was executed and further intelligence work revealed he was known to have a gun. He later surrendered himself to police. 

Pourablghssemion was also sentenced to three years for GBH - investigated by Lancashire Police -  after he attacked a man with a bottle in Blackpool in September last year. 

PC Chris Kitson, from GMP’s Specialist Operations team, said:

“Pourablghssemion went to that road to intimidate and scare residents with a gun. 

“At 9am people would have still been on the school run or making their way to work. This could have had catastrophic consequences but Pourablghssemion showed no regard for the public’s safety. 

“Guns will never belong on our streets and we will continue to do everything we can to find those who use firearms and put them behind bars.”
