  • ICELAND RECALLS CRISPY CHICKEN DIPPERS AFTER PLASTIC CONCERNS

    UK News

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has raised concerns over the safety of the supermarket's 60 Crispy Chicken Dippers and has asked customers to return the packs to stores for a full refund.

This is thought to be an isolated case and no other Iceland products are thought to have been affected by the issue.

The product being recalled is the supermarket’s pack of 60 dippers (1.08kg), with any best before date code.

Iceland has started putting up recall notices in stores and the information is being shared online via both the media and social networks.

In a notice, the FSA said:

    Quote

"If you have bought any of the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund."

If you are concerned or have queries, Iceland said you can speak to a store manager or alternatively contact the customer care line on 0800 328 0800.
