  • MAN CHARGED FOLLOWING ROBBERY IN WESTHOUGHTON

    Timothy Gelsthrope (17/10/1971) of The Croft, Westhoughton, has been charged with robbery and section 18 grievous bodily harm. 

    He was remanded in custody to appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 26 June 2018). 
      
    Shortly after 7am on Sunday 17 June 2018, police were called to reports of a burglary on Wesley Close in Westhoughton. 
      
    On arrival, officers discovered a man in his 70s suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
