
Her Majesty the Queen is said to remain comfortable after growing concerns for her health prompted physicians to place her under medical supervision earlier today.
It is reported that members of the Royal family are currently enroute to the Queens Balmoral residence in Scotland where 96-year-old monarch has been staying over the summer.
Prince Charles, Camilla and Princess Anne are already at Balmoral, with Princes William and Harry reportedly to arrive shortly.
A spokesperson for the Palace, said:
Quote“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
There have been no further updates since.
New Prime Minister, Liz Truss, has said that the nation is deeply concerned over the health of the Queen, adding her thoughts and those of the nation are with the royal family.
