    Detectives from the Greater Manchester Police Major Incident Team have charged Darin Harvey (aged-25) with murder today.

    The father of the two-week old baby girl who died in Heywood last year has been charged with her murder.

    Darin Harvey (25), of Birch Road, Wardle, has been remanded in custody and appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court later today (Thursday 21 April).

    He stood accused of the murder of his daughter Felicity-May Harvey who sadly passed away in hospital on Monday 11 January 2021 after police were called to a report of concern for her welfare.

    The defendant spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth before being remanded into custody pending an appearance at Manchester Crown Court tomorrow (Friday 22nd April).
