Police have confirmed that four men have been charged with conspiracy to supply firearms with intent to endanger life after they were arrested during raids carried out in Manchester in which police recovered firearms and ammunition which they say was destined to be used on the streets across the region.
On Wednesday 15 January 2020 a team of officers executed warrants at three addresses in Moss side and Beswick.
The warrants were executed as part of an operation into reducing gun crime in Greater Manchester when police seized four firearms and a large quantity of ammunition between April and August 2019.
Zico Reid (24/09/1986) of HM Prison Forest Bank has been charged with conspiracy to supply firearms with intent to endanger life.
Ali Ismail (12/10/1991) of HM Prison Forest Bank has been charged with conspiracy to supply firearms with intent to endanger life and possession of a bladed article.
Omar Berryman (31/01/1989) of HM Prison Forest Bank has been charged with conspiracy to supply firearms with intent to endanger life.
A 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons has been charged with conspiracy to supply firearms with intent to endanger life.
They are all appearing at Manchester Magistrates Court later today.
