  • GMP MAKE SWIFT ARREST FOLLOWING A SPATE OF BURGLARIES ACROSS THE NORTH WEST

    At around 9pm last night (Tuesday 24 January) Greater Manchester Police arrested three men in a vehicle in Castlefield, West Yorkshire in connection with a series of large-scale commercial burglaries across Greater Manchester and the North West.

    Three men, aged 44, 43 and 39 remain in police custody for questioning.

    Detective Inspector Rick Castley of GMP Serious Organised Crime Group said:

    “These arrests are part of a proactive investigation into organised crime across the region, particularly those targeting commercial properties.

    “Thankfully, no members of the public have been injured during these incidents and a swift response from GMP means the suspects have been arrested and the stolen items have been recovered.”
