Police have launched a murder investigation after they were called Yesterday morning (Thursday 20 July 2022) at 9:30am, to a report of a concern for the welfare of a male in a property on Edgbaston Drive, Stretford.
Officers attended and a man in his 80s was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.
Police say that a 51-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The suspect remains in custody for questioning.
