  • MAN CHARGED AS DETECTIVES APPEAL FOR INFORMATION FOLLOWING A STABBING IN MIDDLETON

    Police were called just after 1pm on Sunday 20 February 2022 to a report of a stabbing at a pub on Kemp Street, Middleton.

    Emergency services attended and enquiries established a 37-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times during an altercation outside the pub.

    He was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition requiring surgery.

    Jordan Darcy (21/01/2000) of Newton Crescent, Middleton has been charged in connection with the incident.

    He has been charged with Section 18 assault - wounding with intent and has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on 22 February 2022.

    Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or video footage to get in touch with police.
