Detectives have released images of a male they want to speak to after a man died following an assault in Manchester.

At around 4.45am on 2 June 2022, officers were called to a report of an assault on Bloom Street in Manchester city centre. Emergency services attended and 59-year-old David Aubert was taken to hospital and later left on his own accord.

Days later on 6 June 2022, officers received a report that David was missing by a family member and a missing report was submitted. Two days later, David was sadly found dead at an address on Upper Brook Street in Longsight at around 11am.
